Camaraderie and Competition!
Fishing is fun, but it's the perfect combo of camaraderie and competition that fuels most tournament teams. Friends fishing with and against one another, fathers against sons, brothers on the same team.. and sometimes wives against their husbands. The ladies on Showtime! have been steadily picking at the fish and have battled their way to second place! Two of the women have husbands on a competing team, and those men have some catching up to do if they don't want to carry the trophy home for their wife! Just under an hour left of fishing today! Good luck to all of our competitors.

Reservations Please
Space is filling up fast for the parties the next two nights. If you haven't already called the club with your reservations please do so right away!
Tonight is all-you-can-eat stone crabs and live music poolside.
Tomorrow is the Gala Awards Dinner.

Wow Team Seven!
The fishing has picked up! Especially for Seven, a 62' Bayliss lead by Team Captain, Keith Beaty and Boat Captain Jimmy Hardee. Two Doubles already this morning moves them into a commanding lead! Pat Healey on the Viking 64 Demo Boat released the first fish of the day, and our all ladies team on the Showtime! has moved up the leaderboard to join Tami Ann and Polarizer in a fight for second place.

Sailfish Weather!
Good Morning from your Gold Cup committee boat! The temperatures have dropped and the wind has picked up, they say this is sailfish weather! We hope that to be true for the 22 teams fishing today. Flyer and Osceola have taken a lay day as both teams fished our first day. This will be Blank Check's last day of fishing. A big good luck to everyone out there! Hope they're snapping!
