Sea Spray Billfish Tournament

Entry fees: $5000.00

NOTE: Entry fees will be disbursed as follows:

$500 of entry fees - Kick-off & Awards parties, food, open bar, live music, t-shirts, and bucket.
$500 of entry fees - Abaco Dog Shelter Bahamas “Peace Love & Potcakes”
$2000 of entry fees - Daily’s- winner takes all
$2000 of entry fees - Overall - 1st, 2nd and 3rd 50/30/20 split

Schedule of events:

Registration: In-person Thursday, April 25th between 5:00-7:30 pm

Kick-off Party Thursday, April 25th at 7:30 PM at Sea Spray Resort and Marina - Abaco, Bahamas

Awards - Saturday, April 27th 7:30 p.m.

Rules

Fishing days (Friday April 26th & Saturday April 27th)

Boats can fish out of any marina or local dock in the Abacos

Rules:
Lines in 8:00 a.m - Lines Out 3:30 p.m

Non-offset circle hooks only

Hook and Hand is allowed

30’ Max Leader

Hook-ups and releases must be called into committee boat

All fish hooked prior to 3:30 can be fought until 6:30

No line class requirements

All billfish must be released

Eligible species and scoring

Blue Marlin - 300 points

White Marlin - 200 points

Spearfish - 200 points

Sailfish - 100 points

Ties are broken on time

Boundaries - 30 miles from Seaspray Marina
Boats may depart from the Marsh Harbor, Hopetown, Seaspray, and Bakers Bay Marinas.
