38th Annual Fishing Tournament
“Bare Bones”
Tournament Entry Fee:
Entry fee is $300 per Boat/Team. This includes 4 angler shirts and tournament gift buckets and entrance to captains meeting, weigh in, and awards party.
Tournament Registration Deadline.
Registration must be submitted by May 22, 2024 in order toreceive t shirts and gift buckets.
Final registration closes June 10th at 7pm at the captain’smeeting.
Tournament fishing Day is June 12, 2024
Fishing time: Lines in at 7 am and there are not lines out justhave to weigh in by 5 pm
Boats must leave the US the morning of June 12th.
Weigh in:
Fish must be delivered by boat or car to Black Point Marina fillet tables, by 5pm. 24775 SW 87 Ave Miami Fl 33032If a line is present weigh master will have a list of teams in line by 5pm. those teams will be the only teams to weigh in after 5pm.
Eligible Fish. This tournament is limited to dolphin only. All fish accepted for weigh in must be in fresh edible condition of legal size and caught on tournament day.
Two Tournament Categories
1) Aggregate
2) Big Fish
Aggregate scoring: (Largest combined weight of three Dolphin) Up to but no more than 3 dolphin may be entered per boat fish must be of legal length of 20” tot he fork
Big Fish is Heaviest dolphin weighed
Check In: All boats must be checked in by 5pm with tournament officials. Verbally or visually from the docks at black point fillet station or the ramps.
Ties: In case of a tie winner will be the earliest fish weighed in
Protest: Any protest concerning conduct of an angler or rules violations, must be filed in writing the day of the tournament and must be filed in the last fish weighed in.
Registration: All boats must be registered by a State Certified Firefighter, Police Officer, active or retried military. Boat may be owned by a non firefighter, non police and non military.
Captains Meeting: Monday June 10th, At Lincoln Beard Brewery 7300 SW 41 st Miami Fl 33155 Doors open at 6pm and the meeting will start promptly at 7pm. The meeting will last approximately one hour or until all info is passed. All participating Captains (or representative) must be present at the meeting to receive tournament Packets. The rules and regulations may be amended by additional verbal and printed material, which may be disseminated at the captain’s meeting.
Awards: The tournament prizes will be given at the awards party. The awards party will be at Black Point Ocean Grill starting at 6 pm. Food will be served.
