It was another great day of fishing during the Edisto Invitational Billfish Tournament, the final leg of the South Carolina Governor's Cup Billfishing Series! The fleet is now on their way back to the Marina at Edisto Beach.
Based on unofficial reports from the water, the 38 crews released 4 blue marlin and 107 sailfish in 3 days. Tournament results will remain unofficial until staff are able to verify billfish releases.
The unofficial Series champion will also be announced once staff have had the opportunity to review today's catch.
Come on down to the marina from 5-7 PM for meatfish (dolphin, wahoo, and tuna) weigh-in and to welcome the fleet back to Edisto Beach!
