OUTBOARD -IN- 1ST PLACE!
The FIVE hour FIGHT was worth the WAIT (& weight) for the crew of four! The 35' Contender outboard, PELAGIC HUNTER II of Sneads Ferry, tops the leaderboard in 1st Place with a 495.2-pound blue marlin, caught by Riley Adkins. PELAGIC HUNTER II is registered in Level I, Level II, VI, and the Outboard Level. Congratulations to PELAGIC HUNTER II!
Totals were up from yesterday- 17 blue marlins, 3 sailfish, and 5 white marlin released (unofficially). PIRACY took home $5,000 after an early sailfish release for Gregory Poole's 1st Release of the Day!
Of the total 205 entered boats, 153 are still eligible to fish tomorrow & 52 will be fished out! The FABULOUS FISHERMAN'S Prize Money is anyone's game on the final day of the 62nd Annual Big Rock Tournament! TUNE IN to see who will WIN the $552,500! BILL COLLECTOR's catch came in at 453.7-pounds. Not enough to take 3rd place, but enough to shake up the leaderboard for 4th. GAME CHANGER's blue marlin did not meet tournament minimum requirements.

Day 5: BACK in BUSINESS
The bite is starting to pick back up after only 1 release yesterday. There are 187 boats fishing today, 18 boats took a lay day. Although it may seem like the rain puts a damper on today's fishing forecast, the wind is significantly less than yesterday! PIRACY released a sailfish at 9:26 for the (unofficial) Gregory Poole 1st Release of the Day worth $5,000! Since then- 3 blues, 2 whites & 1 sailfish have been released!
BEAR WITH US: It seems that most boats are out of radio range this morning. Randy is relying on SAT phone for hookup/activity updates. You may not be hearing much on the radio right now, but hang in there- we will update you as soon as we get information!
