Joker has just released their second Sail of the tournament putting them in a tie for first place with Set Free! Jokar has a hold on the kingfish category, and is in second and third place for dolphin! With a whole day in front of them, they could take the lead at any moment! The good news for Set Free is that this is jokers third day and they have a chance to catch up with them!

Hope we don’t wake you! But Set Free has declared their second day! As the elves of the club prepare for this weekends Jr Angler we are happy to report that our leaders in the sailfish category, Team Set Free, are testing the late July waters for us all! Congratulations to our latest entry Team Lily! This husband and wife team are one to watch! Sponsors of the Sailfish Club through their company TEAMS Marine co-owned with friend and partner Dominic LaCombe Jr. we are so glad they are fishing yet another tournament with us! Long time supporters of the Billfish Foundation the team was excited to have an opportunity to recapture and re-tag a sailfish! As experienced as they are, the fish broke the line before the tag could be removed, however the catch was official and put them on the board in our Sailfish category!

Congratulations to Club Members John Osarczuk and his team Jokar as they take the lead in the aggregate category! The 33.2 lb Kingfish weighed today has them sitting in a solid first place. Set Free still hold the Sailfish Release category with 2, but a big weekend is upon us! Anything could happen!

Joker has started their day! Set Free is currently in the lead with two sails. Jokar will need two before 2:35 today to take the lead or three sailfish by 3pm at lines out! A 15lb tuna is strong but almost any dolphin will overtake the small 5lb dolphin on the board. Stay tuned throughout the day for updates!

Captain John Osarczuk and his family led team will fish their 35' Cobia tomorrow Tuesday the 9th! This team is in across the board- Who knows what the day will bring! Wish Captain Sean luck tomorrow as he fishes with his all female crew! A much traveled and world renowned Captain, fishing with your family in the backyard can present its own challenges! Certainly this winning team has a shot at top spot!

Please make sure all fees are paid and declare your day by 8pm tonight if you are fishing tomorrow!
Registration will remain open until until the last 5 days in the Shootout month. So call your friends, get in the game, and go catch a few!
