EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! We have partnered with @seawardsystems and will draw one lucky winner from the teams that fished the 2023 MONGO Offshore Challenge next Wednesday 10/25 at 11am, live in booth #35 Bahia Mar at FLIBS. We are giving away $4,000 towards any SEAWARD SYSTEMS products! Pick from a custom fish cleaning stations, fire pits, rod caddies, anything you like. We would like to congratulate the winners of each of the MONGO categories (Blue Marlin, Swordfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi ) of the 4th annual MONGO Offshore Challenge. They have earned their win by catching the largest fish of the 153 day MONGO fishing season. Beating out the fleet consisting of 162 boats 21’-92’, logging 4000+ MONGO fishing trips, with 3000+ anglers, utilizing 40+ weigh in locations, and accepting weights from 70+ other tournaments, across this years 2 regions, East coast and Gulf coasts.💪🤙 You are the official heavy weight champs of 2023🙌💪👑🎣💰🏆🤙. Thank you all who competed and a huge thank you to all of our participating weigh stations, and our awesome sponsors! Our plans and hopes are to continue to grow this big game “fishing challenge”, and this sport we all love, we want to celebrate the awesome fish, and showcase and reward the teams who catch them. Teams, it’s hard to believe that another MONGO season is almost over. This Saturday September 30 at 7:00 pm we will close the MONGO scales.

The 2023 GULF DIVISION MONGO is off to a fast start with 2 qualifying fish weighed in. A 256lb swordfish caught by team “RANSOM” weighed in at Cypress Cove Marina, and a 65lb Wahoo caught by team “SEA SPRAY” weighed in at Orange Beach Marina . Also team “Salt Shaker” weighed a 39.8lb mahi weighed in at Harbor Walk Marina that missed the minimum weight by 2 ounces. Looking forward to seeing what y’all hang up this week! PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK OUT AND IN FOR TRIPS THROUGH THE MOBILE APP, also notify us of any potential qualifying fish when boated. We wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who chose to compete in the 4th annual MONGO Offshore Challenge Gulf division. Thank you to our awesome sponsors who help us put this event on. We are truly honored and thankful to have each of our 132 Gulf coast teams(unofficial). We are excited to see what y’all HANG UP this year. Looking forward to awarding over $365,000 in cash (unofficial) plus thousands in sponsor prizes, and presenting the MONGO trophy’s to the winners.
